California bike crash injures 1

Car accidents that involve two standard motor vehicles can often be dangerous enough, but when a bicyclist is involved the situation can be even more tragic. The lack of protection that bicyclists have can add to the danger since they are often near other vehicles that are massive in comparison. If an accident occurs, it can often leave the rider of the bicycle with serious injuries that alter their lives for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, one bike crash in California recently sent one man to the hospital.

The accident took place on June 28 just before 9 p.m. and involved one car and a bicycle. Initial investigations showed police that the bicyclist was riding on the side of the road when the driver of the car attempted to make a left turn just before the collision. The driver reportedly pulled into the intersection as the rider attempted to cross and the two individuals collided.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and quickly transported the victim to the hospital. The current condition of the victim is unknown at this time, but the driver of the car was not injured in the accident. California police are still investigating the accident at this time.

Depending on the findings of the investigation, the injured victim of the bike crash may have the right to seek monetary compensation. This could be used by the victim to pay for any of his medical bills that are received because of his injuries. Compensation could allow the victim to heal fully before returning to his normal routine.
